Beautiful Burst of Pink could be a new name. Gorgeous! The colors from light to dark in the pink/red makes me think of Valentines Day. Nice story on how you discovered the kind of flower it is. I like the way you framed the blossom and great work on the design of your name.

It's very pretty, but am in agreement with martie and MaryB -- it looks like a double hibiscus to me. Hydrangeas have multiple flowerettes in their blooming cluster and the pinks I've seen are more purple-pink than actual amazing pink (like this photo).
