La Cabeza 2

The second in this series, this is a photo from inside the Cabeza mosaic sculpture. With the exception of the inside "crown" of the Cabeza, the entire inside is covered with mirrored mosaic pieces. The eyes that you saw from yesterday's photo are now represented by round, indented eye sockets on the interior.

I tried to wait until no one was standing in front of the sculpture so as not to get an interrupted view through the teeth, but this seemed to be the most popular exhibit that day. This picture fit perfectly as a background for the computer screen and the texture from the teeth was neat. Photo taken May 6, 2007.
