This is probably my best HDR photo to date. I tried to replicate this capture using a background that wasn't so busy, but couldn't come anywhere close in regards to color, detail, and "velvetiness."
A very good photo, Steven... Maybe you should try to capture this against a blue sky...

I agree with earnest... The flower against the blue ceiling is captivating so a blue sky would be also... nice job

you are becoming quite the master. Good eye!

It looks very vivid and three-dimensional - the flower almost pops out of the display, very nice :-)

I am in awe. This is beautifully done. My meager technical skills (ha, if "skills" even fits what I have) humbly bow in submission.

It's true that contrasts and colours are sharpened and enlighted ! Very good indeed.

Nice Easter lily indeed... but I think I'm more intrigued about the picture that's being displayed in the background... Is that a family portrait? Your folks maybe? :-)

HDR can have a variety of unexpected results. In my view, each of them is valid and it depends on what you set out to achieve . . and, often, what you find along the way!

Excellent indeed. Well done!

@greg: Trial version of Photomatix. I used the A630 (reference to Canon camera model).
