Mid-Afternoon Snack

Due to the quick actions of this pelican, he managed to get a nice-sized mid-afternoon snack when a boy accidentally dropped a fish that he just caught off the Fort Myers Beach pier. I find it amazing how the pelican is able to digest the entire fish. There must be some serious acids in the pelican's stomach to break the fish down. And an esophagus made of steel.
