Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 9 February 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Here's a 45-foot tall evergreen that I spotted on my way to work Thursday morning, February 7, 2008.

I've always loved the way snow hangs on an evergreen. Excellent shot.

This is an excellent wintery shot even without post processing (PP) in a photo program.
I really like the image. Great find on your way to work. Your logo is very creative.

Nobody could ever mistake this for a summer scene... but this is beautiful, no matter how cold.

love the shot.. that is a ton of snow..

Have you thought of dropping the opacity of your logo to like 40 percent or so? I think it hurts this pic a little.. just my two cents...

@greg: Totally agree. At that time, it just seemed to be a time when I was experimenting with the logo as it was one that I had just created recently. I've also created one in white. I'm going to fidgeit with it to see if I can make a "true" watermark, rather than just a stamp. :-)
