Merced Amtrak Train Station

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 22 May 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio.

This was my first stop in my quest to get back to San Francisco after the tour bus left me in Yosemite Park. It was a four-hour drive here via the Yosemite Park shuttle bus. The Amtrak train would then take me at 9:25 PM to Stockton after playing "Chicken" with another Amtrak train that was trying to pull into the Merced train station on the same track.

I remember from an earlier of your posts that your travel back was a little bit longer: it speaks in your favour that you decided to make a photo instead of falling into despair :-)
