Posted by

The Dead River is located in the southern section of Illinois Beach State Park. This river is the only river left in Illinois that still flows into Lake Michigan.

It looks beautifully maintained, and so peaceful, I can almost hear the birds singing. A great shot.

So the Dead River is alive and well, rumors about it's death are wildly exaggerated? I like your inclusion of the road and guard rail, gives us more depth.
P.S.: I'll be absent for the next two weeks, but Gilles M., Gilles D. and Alain B. will continue to visit your blog and answer your comments on our blog.
