"Come to the Light"

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 29 April 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

An interesting shot I captured as we walked along the beach of Lovers Key. When I looked up at the sun, I saw this "aura" of light as the rays bent around the branch and thought there was a spiritual feeling evoked here. Photo taken March 15, 2009.

I think you caught a definite "numinous" moment in this light and silhouette of the tree.

I hate to see dead trees but I love to look at them. Does that make sense?
