Coolers, once holders for many coho and salmon from fishing expositions, now blanket the empty docks. I quickly made my way around the port district property from the yacht club (yesterday's photo) to the northern inner harbor where fixed docks are located. The line of steam rising from the water is even more pronounced here in the early sunlight as it rises above the breakwater. While capturing some of these photos, I was noticing a lot of "creeking" noises here. Searching around the immediate area, I could see that I was the only one in the harbor area on this bitterly cold Sunday morning. Tomorrow I find out where that noise was coming from.
