FDR Nighttime Series

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 6 July 2010 in Documentary & Street and Portfolio.

Recognizing that too many days of this photoblog have been used sharing my photos from Washington, DC, I've decided to start consolidating some captures in photomontages to get through this series quicker. :-)

I still have a lot of Spring photos to share and it may be Fall by the time I share them here. ;-)

Here are a few nighttime photos I captured of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt monument.

Photos taken May 5, 2010.

SONY DSLR-A300 5/1 second F/5.6 ISO 100 27 mm (35mm equiv.)

New photos posted on most Mondays through Thursdays.

Your photos never bore me,let me tell you - that being said, this is a great idea as well - the FDR memorial was SOOO crowded when we were there a few years ago, I hardly got anything - it would have been nice to spend better/more time. However, because of that, I am grateful for these exquisite images that you have shared. Great Job Steven.

Very atmospheric shots! The artificial lighting brings out very interesting details of this monument and FDR's statue.
