Bureau of Engraving and Printing

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 12 July 2010 in Architecture and Portfolio.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is a government agency within the United States Department of the Treasury that designs and produces a variety of security products for the United States Government, most notable of which is paper currency for the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve itself is a semi-private bank which acts as the central bank of the United States of America. In addition to paper currency, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing produces Treasury securities; military commissions and award certificates; invitations and admission cards; and many different types of identification cards, forms, and other special security documents for a variety of Government agencies. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing does not produce coins; all coinage is produced by the United States Mint. With production facilities in Washington, DC, and Fort Worth, Texas, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing is the largest producer of Government security documents in the United States.

Yes indeed great light control but all of yours are like this - in control - I really like gow those trees by the green light seem to be jumping at the screen - a great framing of this huge building - good grief it took us 5 minutes to walk by on the outside if I recall correctly... very nice Steven

@Denny Jump Photo: I think I was lost when I captured this photo because there were only VERY BUSY streets and fences where I was at here. No sidewalks within blocks of here. I thought police would be arresting me soon.

Love the lighting on this. I am sure the FBI knew exactly where you were and what you were doing.
