Caladium?

Not certain if this is of the Caladium variety. Photo taken from the boardwalk at the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.

Looks like salad to me, where's the dressing?

It could be caladium, but I know that plant only with multi colored leaves. Red/green, white/green, yellow/green, light green/dark green etc.
