Photo #600

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 10 January 2011 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

Saturday's post marked photo #600 here on my blog. I am actually thinking of taking my blog off Aminus3 and finding a new host.....Perhaps Network Solutions or Yahoo Small Business? I secured www.alefteyedview.com a while ago which currently redirects here to Aminus3. But Aminus3 has given me a few problems. And I've had additional inquiries about purchasing some photos here on "A Left-Eyed View" and I'd like to sell my photos through Fotomoto, which I am unable to do (currently) with Aminus3. It will also allow me to set up a "blogroll" which will be nice to have, particularly for those whose blogs I visit and are not on Aminus3. I am also looking to purchase templates from Photocrati and I was wondering if there is anyone out there who utilizes their templates and what kind of experience you've had.

Like previous milestones, I try to highlight the one photo that I really like that was posted during the last 100 posts. The photo highlighted here is LaSalle Street in Chicago, Illinois. It was captured July 2, 2010 and was posted here.

New photos posted on most Mondays through Thursdays.

Congratulations on the 600th post, you'd be a big miss here Steven if you decided to leave. There are many who continue to cross post with other blogs and allow their AM3 outlet to send visitors in other directions, it may be worth a thought.......

@Curly: I'd never take this site down entirely, but redirect people to the new site.....if I do it. Maybe I'll talk to Aminus3 about allowing a "Fotomoto" badge on my Aminus3 blog?

my compliments and congratulations, steven! i'd hate to see you leave, but if you leave an "address", i'll keep visiting!

I honor you, sir, not only for the sheer fact that you accumulated 600 images and conveyed them here, but more for the fact that I never once found an image that was not beautifully and tastefully composed with all the aspects of a really masterful technique. Watching your blog has been one of the true pleasures, for me, during the time that I have been here...tasteful, beautiful, tack sharp and always a great narrative...for this I say congratulations and best wishes for the future. I selfishly look very much forward to seeing what is coming next from the Left-Eyed View..Bravo Steven!

Congrats, Steven!!! Hey, it would be a pity to lose you here! I know what you mean, though: I also miss several useful features here, and it would be great if AM3 would surprise us with some new goodies.

Congratulations on 600, that's a lot of pixels.
Steven, I maintain another web page I use for professional purposes, and it has worked out well for me. I do however enjoy posting something daily here on AM3, I find it keeps my chops up to standard.

Congrats! Good choice of image too.
Try to stay away from yahoo. I know a few people who had nothing but trouble there. Finding good hosting is difficult. Sometimes finding a smaller company is better because, in general, they seem more dedicated and offer better support.

congrats on 600 - I love AM3, the community and the flexibility to post-ahead. But I understand your point of view as well. Good luck!

So has anyone ever asked admin on A-3 about Fotomoto? Sounds like a really interesting and potentially profitable venture for us on this site.
