Just a magnificent shot, Steven. I would expect nothing less. The blue sky really puts a beautiful background color and the variations in light dance around the blossoms so beautifully - the result seems to be some in the spotlight and some waiting in the wings for their chance to shine...the blossoms are just perfect and perfectly detaiiled and focused...the color is such a wonderful creamy color - You really nailed this one - I love it!

fantastic shot!
what about your camera? did you shoot this one upside down or have you repaired it?

18 May 2011 4:52pm

@Roman: Have not repaired it. It's embarassing to shoot upside down, so I just shoot with the lens slightly below parallel and what I want gets captured. You should have seen me photographing the butterflies. That day I did shoot with the camera upside down because I usually didn't have a second chance to shoot a particular butterfly. Still looking into Canon for my primary and then my Sony will be my secondary. Canon will require significant investment if I purchase what I really want.....including lenses.
