Well Steven, I don't miss the snow in the shot as the reflections of the gorgeous lights on the grass are really interesting.

Very nice capture Steven. I too am waiting for snow, but unfortunately my free weekends to go and ski have vanished :-(. I am curious about how you achieved a star burst on the top of the tree and not with the other points of light in this image. I'm used to seeing this effect with narrow aperatures, i.e. f/16, but you got the effect on the top when shooting f/5.0. My inclination is that it has to do with the design of the star on top, but I'm curious if you can add any insight.
