Brookfield Zoo - Seahorse

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 16 January 2012 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

An additional ice carving of a seahorse which had multiple facets to allow many reflections of light. Unfortunately, I couldn't frame it without a lot of distractions in the background. So I cut it out to stand alone.

Photo captured December 30, 2011.

Love your end result here, obviously a lot of work at the artists hand and yours for doing
this amazing photo. I was sure it was a crystal carving you were lucky to find, surprised
me to find out its ice again. Its so astonishing, its something to dream about, one of the
finest ice sculptures I have had the luck to find, on amimus ! Beautiful work, Steven !!~
