Templo Dios del Viento

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 8 February 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The Templo Dios del Viento (Temple of the Wind God) was constructed on top of a circular platform, something found infrequently in the area. The temple itself is rectangular in shape and has only one door. On the upper part of the temple's facade are two moldings decorated with small stucco statues.

Photo captured November 18, 2011.

Looks small in scale, until you see the people on the left making their way around
that glorious tropical vegetation. Superb photo, looks remotely untouched by people
these days, adding to the majesty of the landscape !~
