Connecticut governor Dannell Malloy asked that the state of Connecticut observe a moment of silence at 9:30 AM today and that all houses of worship ring their bells 27 times for the 20 children and 7 adults who died one week ago today at Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut at 9:30 AM.
