Great looking colours and clarity in this picture, but my big question is why stitch two together?

@Curly: Curly, I wanted to get the pool, the two levels of dining in the background, and the four lounge chairs in the forground in one shot, but couldn't without stitching.

Are you saying this is a two-shot compressed image, Steven? I expected a double-wide image and now wonder if you posted a different one.

22 Oct 2013 9:26am

@Judy aka L@dybug: "Panoramic" was the wrong word to use. Like I just told Curly, I wanted to get the pool, the two levels of dining in the background, and the four lounge chairs in the foreground in one shot, but couldn't without stitching.

Jason Politte from Conway, AR, United States

Looks like a lovely place to relax, Steven. I was a bit confused at first when I read this was a two shot image, but I'm wondering if it's not two shots placed on top of each other to capture the entire scene. Regardless, wonderful shot and gorgeous color!

22 Oct 2013 10:49am

@Jason Politte: It was two shots placed side by side, with the camera held in the "portrait" position rather than "landscape" position.

Ahhhh, it makes sense that you had to stitch horizontally ... and you did it seamlessly, capturing the depth and all its details!
