Terrace Room Front Hall

This is a photo of the front hall before entering the Terrace Room of the Grand Hotel. I have never seen anything like the circular green velvet "couch" in the center, which Phil Morris has appropriately termed a "conversation bench".

Interesting decor.... I am thinking that the carpet could be a different color other than red and that's a very busy pattern in the sofas! An odd kind of room.... but a super visual!
