|A LEFT-EYED VIEW|
Eye on Chicago
Oak Park, Illinois artist Tony Tasset designed this three-story eyeball after the sphere in his own socket. Aptly titled, "EYE", this massive replica of Tony's own eye sits in Pritzker Park at Van Buren and State Street in Chicago, casting a menacing gaze at anybody who dares walk past. Made of steel-reinforced fiberglass, the piece was built by F.A.S.T. Corp. of Sparta, Wisconsin.
After putting my watermark on this photo, I noticed how eerily similar the position of the iris is in comparison to where the iris was captured in this photograph.
Photo captured on August 6, 2010.
