Taming of the Falls?

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 7 December 2017 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

My first try at long exposure photography from a "not-so-ideal" spot to capture Horseshoe Falls. It's hard to set up a tripod in a heavy traffic area full of tourists. Better shots I hope are to come. :-)

Photo captured September 27, 2017.

NIKON D7000 3 seconds F/6.7 ISO 125 18 mm

You can always improve. It is one of the goals of this hobby. This is not bad, but very interesting. Moving the moving water so ,. that motion is visible is not the easiest to describe.

Wow! The water is just amazing! Your long exposure of the water is just gorgeous! I love the color. I tried that too at Great Falls in Maryland. It was more difficult than I thought. Especially with a lot of people walking around.
