Employees of the Dubuque Brewing and Malting Company pose for a photograph holding a painting of their place of employment. The massive red brick Neo-gothic complex was constructed in 1896, but many of the buildings have since been demolished. A once glorious portion still stands on the north side of town. The word 'Automate' is superimposed over the composition in the tri-color of the American and French flags. This mural is 114' wide by 41' tall.
