Grand Bohemian - Power Plant

Posted by
Steven (Chicagoland, United States) on 15 January 2020 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

View of the former Georgia Power Plant. Preliminary plans were completed for the Plant Riverside site for a Grand Bohemian at this historic power plant. It would anchor a $100 million-plus redevelopment of the waterfront property, which straddles the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and River Street in Savannah. The 160-room Grand Bohemian would be housed in the historic power plant, along with a café, a restaurant and bar, a 3,500-seat ballroom, a 3,000-square-foot art gallery and other upscale retail.

Si je comprends bien, cette bâtisse a été revue et corrigée d'une toute autre manière que son attribution d'origine. La partie ocre rouge est très belle.
Bonne journée Steven

I guess it is historic, but it would (to me, anyway) be a less attractive place to stay or meet than the riverboat of the convention center you posted in the last few days. "Hey, honey, let's go spend a romantic weekend in Savannah and stay in a 100 year old power plant."

Some of them looked really sad...
