Live oak trees line the sidewalk in Forsyth Park. I love the Spanish Moss that hangs from the trees. Spanish Moss is an air plant that photosynthesizes its own energy from the sun. The scales help the plant absorb water and nutrients, most of which come from minerals leached from the foliage of the live oak tree.
