View looking north from Congress Parkway as we head out of Chicago and go back home. I wanted to get some photos in Lincoln Park Zoo of a popular spot to photograph the skyline from, but parking was an absolute mess anywhere near the Zoo. So after about 4 loops around the area, we ditched our efforts and concentrated on what was easily photographed. This area (I believe) still encompasses part of what everyone refers to as Grant Park.
Buildings (from left to right) include the Smurfit-Stone Building (now known as the Crain Communications Building), Trump Tower, Prudential Building, Two Prudential Plaza, Aon Center, Blue Cross Blue Shield Tower, 340 on the Park Tower, the Buckingham Building, and the Vista Tower.
Tomorrow showcases what I think was the best shot of the short trip to the City.
