Chicago finally got its first measurable snowfall of the season (2020-2021) on January 26, 2021. Last winter season (2019-2020), our first measurable snowfall was on October 31, 2019 and no other snowfall during that winter season matched that amount.

A snowfall may be inconvenient, but it beautifies the landscape. At least, I am delighted.
But it is also true, that I never have to endure a blizzard. It's not a state of weather that exists in my geographical area.
