Chicago finally got its first measurable snowfall of the season (2020-2021) on January 26, 2021. Last winter season (2019-2020), our first measurable snowfall was on October 31, 2019 and no other snowfall during that winter season matched that amount.

that path back into the woods is intriguing - I had to go back a page to compare the two scenes. I remembered the hint of a path behind the right most tree in yesterday's shot so I wanted to compare. I think I like today's better... both more pristine without the benches, and more mysterious with the path into the woods.
