Second floor window of the Brookfield Public Library that overlooks the burning maple trees along Park Avenue.
The wooden, vertical slats that partially obscure the window are known as "brise-soleil", an architectural element that helps block out direct sunlight that would otherwise shine through the window at the "height" of the day when heat gain would be greatest.

@Harry: Believe it or not, this is the "newer" library, just completed within the last two years. The library failed in passing two referendums and what got it built was a million-dollar donation from a local "financial advisor". Its flat, boxy design turns me off. Especially with the flat "blocks" of the second floor. The blocks look like holograms.
