The double-decker tour boat glides steadily toward the roaring majesty of Horseshoe Falls, its white hull stark against the emerald waters of the Niagara River. Crowds of brightly red poncho passengers fill the boat's deck, their anticipation as palpable as the thundering cascade ahead. The boat edges closer to the veil of mist rising like a living spirit from the churning depths, its tendrils curling and reaching as if to embrace the vessel. The roar grows deafening, a symphony of nature’s raw power, and the mist, thick and luminous, begins to envelop the boat in an ethereal shroud. At that moment, the Falls seem both welcoming and all-consuming, a breathtaking reminder of the sublime force of water and time.

@Bill Phillips: Depending on if you boarded a boat from the American side or the Canadian side you were either issued a blue poncho (USA) or red poncho (Canada). Perhaps that's if the boat was overturned? :-)
@Gérard Flayol: I wasn't even born in 1967. :-)
